Silver Package: $85- Includes 45 minutes of fun-filled instruction for beginners including a dance you can all do together. Linda will bring hip scarves for you and all of your friends to borrow during the class.
Gold Package: A $130- Includes The Silver Package plus a Gift Bag for the Honoree.
Gift Bag includes: CD of fun Belly Dance music, a $10 belly dance gift certificate, and a professional grade hip scarf of her choice. (a $145 value)
Gold Package: B $170- Includes The Silver Package plus a professional mini-performance from Linda- costume, props, and all! (~ 7 to 10 minutes) – Linda will need to change into costume between class and performance. Please allow 1 hour for this package. (a $210 value)

*Belly Dance has been performed at bridal showers, weddings, and birthing rituals for thousands of years. It is believed to help bring good luck and health to families during their special occassions and even ease the birthing process.
*The Harem
Harem: derived from an Arabic word usually translated as prohibited, set apart, forbidden, or secluded.
Though sometimes associated with other things, the Harem of a house in most Muslim cultures has historically been the area designated for women of the house to protect their privacy by keeping unrelated men OUT. Although women could go anywhere they wished in the house, only family members and sometimes female guests were alowed in the Harem. Harems and Belly Dance predate Islam and very few cultures still have Harems in this way. But it is thought that Belly Dance has been preserved and refined because women were free to dance, sing, joke, and be themselves in the privacy of their Harems. This is also the area of the house where many a marriage was arranged and children were brought up/educated.
